Where OurLove Story Started
Built in 1979, Kateri was the cherished home of the late Dr. and Mrs. William and Karen Toomy, who discovered this slice of paradise in Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley. Designed for warmth and hospitality, Kateri offers an unrivaled view of the Blue Ridge Mountains, where the scenery transforms throughout the seasons—from vibrant summer greens and blues to a mesmerizing purple haze in the fall. Our Story
Kateri's One-Floor Venue:
A Perfect Blend of Elegance and Charm, our one-floor venue features an open floor plan, great rooms, and a stunning hallway adorned with intricately designed brickwork. Two of these rooms are graced with exquisite stained-glass windows salvaged from a historic Baptist church in downtown Waynesboro, VA, adding a unique and timeless charm. Solid cherry wood floors and accents beautifully complement the modern design, while over 100 windows invite the outdoors in, seamlessly blending the natural beauty with the interior space. Kateri's Guest Wing includes the 'Something Blue Bridal Room' for the bridal party, providing a dedicated space for preparation that enhances the experience. End your celebration in style, with an overnight stay in the Guest Suite, which features a Sleep Number bed. Overnight accommodation for two is included in the weekend package—a generous and convenient perk that ensures the couple a relaxing and memorable stay.
